The Li Mine
The main pegmatite, the Ligruve, is the largest expoited pegmatite in the Evje-Iveland area so far. Unfortunately this quarry is very poor in interesting minerals. However, the quarry is the most impressive in the entire area. The smaller quarries behind the main quarry are mineralogically more interesting, with excellent possibilities to collect very nice graphic granite and beryl. The more experience collector can expect finds of bertrandite and bavenite, the former in small but very good crystals.
